Hello

Hello I am Momma BadAss. People ask me every day for advice on how they can be badass just like me, so I thought the badass thing to do would be to start this blog so the whole world can be badass too. That is the beauty of being badass – everyone can be a badass. Winners need losers, but a badass needs no one – they just are. In fact, the more people that are badasses, the better of a world this becomes. So, let’s get to it.

First, let’s define what a badass is. Badass is a state of mind as well as a series of behaviors.

A badass does what they feel is right – even if it’s hard. Especially if it’s hard.

A badass speaks up when something is wrong, fights for the weak, stands against bullies.

A badass is honest – all the time.

A badass speaks and carries themselves with confidence and power.

A badass always leaves you wanting a little more from them. You want to hear one more story, one more joke, one more kiss, one more hug.

A badass is always looking for ways to make themselves better – either physically, mentally, emotionally, financially.

A badass LOOKS like they have their shit together, because they DO.

A badass has a badass body – not necessarily perfect (see #6) but has strength and endurance and doesn’t get winded on the stairs or fall down off a curb.

A badass is always ready. They know CPR, how to order wine, how to thank someone in any language, how to juggle, at least 1 good clean joke, 1 questionable joke, and 1 raunchy joke. They can drive a 5 speed, a motorcycle, and your mom’s minivan.

They can find north in the woods, so they are never lost, and know which berries are poison and which are tasty when braised with the bear they just wrestled to it’s death.

They do things without looking – hit the car alarm, toss a pistol just taken from a thug, tossing a beer from the cooler – all accurately and without looking.

A badass is always nice, until it’s time to be mean. A badass is personable and likable, but stands up when has to.

A badass spends their time on the important things in their life. They don’t spend 4 hours a night watching TV or surfing the internet. They are spending time with the people they love doing the things they want to.

Next we will lay out a plan so you too can become badass, and I will start answering your questions.

Until Next Time

Momma BadAss
